Summary
Med-Check is a medical examination performed, where legally acceptable, in each country for Home Country Commuter (HCC) and Home Country Resident (HCR) employees. It is managed by the Schlumberger Country Doctor or by a designated Schlumberger Country health professional.
Med-Check examinations should be performed in Schlumberger approved medical centers in each country.
The cost of Med-Check examinations should be covered by the Schlumberger location.
To ensure that HCR and HCC employees are fit to work in their home country and to maintain a confidential medical record for each individual that can be used in case of emergencies, hospitalization or medical evacuation.

For pre-employment examinations, Med-Check also includes drug screening where legally applicable.
Unless otherwise defined by local legislation, a Med-Check examination shall be performed upon pre-employment and every 3 years thereafter.
