All About Med-Track

Summary


What is Med-Track ?

Med-Track is a Health Monitoring Program administered by International SOS in Paris, France for Schlumberger's high mobility population.

It is a targeted medical examination that can be performed in any medical center chosen by Schlumberger employees or Potential New Hires (pre-employees).

For international employees (IM, IC, GM) covered by Cigna Global Health Services, Med-Track is paid for by the Schlumberger Health plan.
For all other high mobility employees (HCM, HCC and HCR > 30 days), Med-Track is paid by the Schlumberger location.

Objective :
To ensure that high mobility staff employees and their dependants where applicable are fit to travel, work and live outside their country of permanent residence and to maintain a confidential medical record for each individual that can be used in case of emergencies, hospitalization or medical evacuation.

Due to the international nature of the Med-Track program and Schlumberger, all information is managed in English.

Note: Med-Track physicals cannot be used for other organizations or companies, i.e. Seafarer's Medical, etc.

Frequency of Physicals

When a new employee is hired and before signing their contract with Schlumberger, they must undergo, where legally acceptable, a Med-Track pre-employment physical.

Every three years, there is a periodic checkup.

An employee may have a physical more often than every three years if required.
